Platinum & 18ct Watch Chain

This is a masterfully made antique watch chain, created circa 1900.

Formed of alternating 18ct yellow gold and platinum sections of lovers knots and trombone links (each around 1" long) and finished with a fully functional bolt ring and dog clasp duo.

If you appreciate small details and fine work, this could be the piece for you. The clasps are also 18ct gold and antique, but may not be original to the piece.

Offered in very good antique condition, there is some minor thinning to the ends of some of the 18ct links (photographed), in line with its age and of no short - medium term concern.
