Woof, this is a feisty number. Formerly a bar brooch made circa 1940, this sapphire (more on her in a bit) is surrounded by a beautifully firey halo of old cut diamonds totalling approximately .96ct.
The sapphire is interesting - milky and translucent with a patch of orangey colouration (not really visible to the eye) and 8.6mm wide.
Converted to a pendant with a wide 6mm bale and formed in 9ct gold.
