Converted from screw back earrings, these opals are so vivid and eye catching!
Set in rose gold with a rope border, we believe these slices of opals to be backed with a dark backing to emphasise their colour, but this is obscured with a closed back. The opal you can see is in its natural form.
We date these pieces to C1940. The jump rings we have added are also 9ct rose gold and are 6mm wide.
