Exceptional Old-Cut Diamond and Pearl 18ct Boat Ring

This antique diamond and pearl boat ring is a total heart-stealer.

Crafted from 4.8g of deeply rich 18ct gold and featuring three wonderful old-cut diamonds (see details below) with their coveted open culets and charismatic fire. 

The calm and lustrous pearls are the perfect contrast to these firey diamonds and rich gold, and create a beautifully balanced piece.

The shoulders of the ring are deeply engraved with an understated and elegant floral motif.

We date this ring to the late Victorian period, circa 1890.

This ring is presented in excellent antique condition. There is a very fine hairline crack to one of the pearls and very minor nibbles to one of the shoulder diamonds - both only visible under a loupe. There is evidence of one prior (very well done) resize.
