Detailed Antique Snake Pendant with Watermelon Tourmaline

This solid 18ct snake was salvaged by us and was sadly missing his central stone, which posed an irresistible opportunity to re-instate it with something intriguing...

The snake itself dates to C1870 and is incredibly highly detailed, with an open mouth, wide set eyes and beautiful engraving of his scales.

We chose a watermelon tourmaline which has been cut down to be the perfect fit for this happy chap - predominantly deep pink in tone but with eye-catching glints of green as the stone moves.

Originally a brooch, we have converted to a pendant with 18ct jump ring.
