Sentimental Antique Cornelian Heart Ring
This ring is a true antique delight. Featuring a perfect cornelian heart cradled in a beautifully made bezel, flanked by detailed 'keeper' style shoulders, and a double band to the reverse.
The keeper motif symbolised that someone 'was a keeper', and so it's no great leap to assume that the sentiment of this ring is that 'you are the keeper of my heart'.
Crafted from a beautifully hued rose gold the construction is beautiful and the ring itself weighs a lovely 4.7g.
This ring was made by Edward Vaughton in 1900 and displays crisp and clear 9ct hallmarks for the Chester assay office.
This ring is presented in excellent antique condition, and we have invested in its future by tightening the fitting around the stone.
