The Piece London
Chunky Antique Diamond & Sapphire Horse Shoe Slider Pendant
There's good reason that the horse shoe has long-been a popular jewellery motif, thought to bring with it good luck, since the late-Victorian period.
This extra chunky take on the classic, studded with old cut diamonds and sapphires, is a lucky thing indeed. Dating to circa 1890 it is a timeless classic.
Starting life as a brooch, we have converted this piece to a slider pendant (using the original pin) that can be worn as a pendant with the chain looped through, or with dog clips / bolt rings fastened to each or either loop.
Weighing a solid 4.23g, this piece is of very dense 'semi-hollow' construction making it at extremely low risk of denting (and indeed, it has lived its life to date ding-free).
Offered in very good antique condition, with a minor chip to one of the sapphires, not visible to the unaided eye.
This pendant is shown with a 9ct vintage chain which is 46cm / 18" long and weighing 2.2g. You have the option to purchase this piece with the chain for an additional £70. If you would like to add the chain to your order, please add a note at checkout and we will invoice you separately.
