Chunky Antique Chaceldony Shield Signet Ring

This 14ct French shield signet ring is an excellent example of its genre, and features beautiful and deep scrolling detail all around the head and shoulders of the ring.

Set to the centre of the ring is a perfect shield of white chaceldony, which sits prominently thanks to the lift given by the shank and shoulders of this piece.

To the back and outside of the shank there are two French hallmarks, as is typical for French pieces.

The ring is smooth to the inside and extremely comfortable to wear despite its significant 6.2g weight.

Offered in very good antique condition, with one minor ding to the back of the shank.
