Antique Rock Crystal Shaker Locket

Originally a mourning piece which would have contained a lock of hair, this ornate and beautiful piece dates to the late Georgian / Early Victorian period.

The glass front and back are actually formed from rock crystal, and the ribbon of gold surrounding the piece is 18ct. We have added our own jump ring ijn 18ct yellow gold and added a colourful blend of kite cut citrines, kite and triangle peridots, and oval amethyst.

The opening mechanism is operational and so you can add or remove as you choose!

The rock crystal has the pleasing effect of lightly magnifying the contents.
