A marriage piece, an antique butterfly (C1900) made of 9ct gold with silver top has been studded with old cut diamonds which are firey and conservatively equal ~ half a carat.
The butterfly would have once been a brooch, but has since been added to a gold band with hallmarks for 2000.
This is a very wearable and comfortable piece, the band is a comfy wear and the height it gives means you can stack. The underside of the butterfly has jewellers cement beneath the stones, not visible when worn.
