Antique Octagonal Locket with Old Cut Diamond

We love a non-traditional locket shape and this octagonal number with a star-set old cut diamond to the interior is simply beautiful.

Modelled in 9ct rosey gold, the piece hinges open from the top and contains a photograph of an older Victorian lady (this can easily be removed, the locket does not contain glass). We date this piece to circa 1895. The reverse features a monogram of the letters 'C' 'J' 'C'

We have added a generous 9ct jump ring from our own antique gold supply and this locket is offered in excellent condition.
