Elegant Belle Epoque Bracelet

Say hello to this stunning French bracelet dating to the Belle Epoque.

Fine, high carat gold pieces such as this were incredibly popular in the early 1900s. Crafted from 18ct gold and often showcasing swirling, naturalistic forms connected by a fancy link: often a figure of eight style as seen with this piece.

This piece is hallmarked with the eagles head hallmark, denoting 18ct gold made in France for the domestic market (some trivia, pieces made for export would typically carry an owl hallmark).

We believe the clasp could be a replacement (or perhaps this piece was originally a longguard necklace which has been shortened) but is otherwise offered in excellent antique condition.
