If you're looking for some chunky old-mine cuts with a touch a pepper and an abundance of sparkle, well, here you go.

This classic crossover trilogy ring is crafted from 18ct yellow gold. The stones are bezel-set in a white metal (most likely platinum), which allows us to circa date this piece to 1900.

The extremely chunky and characterful stones could well be older. All three are extremely high-crowned old-mine cut stones which catch the light in an eccentric and pleasing way.
