Amethyst, Opal & Turquoise Ring from 1906

I'll admit to getting a bit carried away on this one...

After falling in love with the setting of this ornate antique ring, we envisioned her with a total stone makeover. The original chipped pearls and red paste have been removed and replaced with a consortium of richly hued amethysts and opals, with a bright turquoise to the centre.

With full Chester hallmarks for 1906 this piece is ready for a new lease of life. Offered in good antique condition, there are two patches of discolouration to the inner shank close to the shoulders dating to the original construction of the piece, which are not visible when worn.
