14ct Jade Bug Ring - 1940s

Simply a dream in solid, old gold.

The square shaped shank (round to the centre - lovely and weighty) is just so comfortable to wear, whilst cutting a sharp and prominent profile on the hand.

The bug to the centre of the ring is crafted from matching 14ct gold (I think this piece is all original rather than a conversion) with a pear cabochon of jade for its body and a little single cut diamond for its head. Perfection.

Dating to C1940 this is a true vintage piece in excellent condition. The yellow gold has the smallest splash of warmth to it which contrasts beautifully with the jade.
