Wearable & Weighty Double Albert Chain

Who among us doesn't love an albert chain? This 16" oval link number ticks all the boxes with all original parts, hallmarks to each link, an impressive 29.9g weight and at a wearable length.

Hallmarked in Birmingham, the date mark is rather worn and illegible, however other clues indicate that this watch chain likely dates to pre-1860.

To the centre of the chain you will find the original drop of a few extra links which could be used to extend the chain further (at an additional cost), used to suspend charms, or removed entirely. 

The condition of the chain is very good, with a great deal of wear left in them. The dog clasps are in excellent working order and align perfectly when closed.
