Victorian Flat Cut Garnet Lozenge Pendant

 We adore this foiled back, flat cut garnet piece which has been converted into a pendant.

In a timeless lozenge shape, round, oval and square flat cut almandine garnets are set into closed back collets. We suspect this piece may have once formed a larger set. Partial hallmarks on a separate piece date the piece to 1859.

There is a gentle curvature to the pendant meaning it sits perfectly on the collarbone.

This piece, including the foil backing is in very good antique condition.

This piece has a stationary 9ct gold jump ring with interior diameter of 4mm, if you require this to be increased we can widen slightly at no extra charge. Please add your request to order notes and allow 2 weeks before dispatch.
