Unique 18ct & Old Cut Diamond Abstract Axe Pendant

This piece strikes us as an abstract axe: and it certainly carries energy worthy of a battle-cry.

Very likely a high-end custom made piece using family diamonds - likely earrings - two well matched old cut diamonds of approximately 0.26 carats each sit atop a bar or solid 18ct gold.

The 'blades' are two scalene triangles with a hand applied florentine finish, which adds stunning textural depth to the piece.

It can be worn by stringing a necklace through the integral bale, which is large enough to accommodate a dog clasp at 3x5mm.

Offered in excellent vintage condition. Diamonds are free from chips and are SI1 with H colour and approximate tcw of 0.52cts (all assessed in setting).
