One of my all time favourite link combinations, this chain features the trombone and lovers knot links. At some point in its history, quite likely when it was made C1900, this piece was 'flashed' in high carat gold giving a higher carat appearance.
Formerly a long guard, we have shortened to a 19" necklace and finished with a dog clasp. This section of chain has the tag hallmark denoting '9c' typical of antique chains from this period.
There is one lovers knot link which has been (historically) repaired which has caused a loss of the high carat flash. This one link is lighter in tone than the rest of the chain.
Material: 9ct yellow gold, clasp is slightly warmer in tone than chain but blends well.
