Romantic 15ct Victorian Turquoise and Pearl Pavé Heart Earrings

These earrings are a triumph of Victorian sentimental design, showing off popular themes from the period: hearts, 15ct gold, and pearl and turquoise pavé.

The combination of turquoise and pearl is frequently seen, but this banding design is somewhat more unusual and is striking when worn in the ear. 

The domed backs and hooks of the earrings are formed from 15ct gold and one earring has a large '15ct' stamp to the reverse. The hooks themselves are original to the earrings and have a pearl studded flower at the base, elongating the earring and elevating their appearance.

These earrings are presented in good antique condition: there is wear to one of the pearls, and one of the extremely tiny seed pearls to the border of one earring is missing - it is so small and unnoticeable we have decided to leave in their original condition however if desired this can be replaced at no additional charge.
