Designed as a signature piece, we have paired this striking Umbalite garnet with an antique ribbed belcher chain.

The large 6.65ct stone returns rich and beautiful colour to the eye. Umbalite garnet from Tanzania is a hybrid which falls between the plum purple of Rhodolite and the vibrant orange of Spessartite. The result is this fantastic bright pinkish-purple with warmth and barely-there orange undertone adding depth.

We've set the garnet to a chunky rounded back bezel in the middle of the antique chain. The gold tone is rich true yellow and it closes with one of our newly made dog clasps. The bright colour is thanks to a flash plating applied to the original chain - this has been polished away where the chain meets the setting*.
