Ornate 1930s Rose Cut Diamond & Filigree Detail Ring

£225 Sold out

This pretty little number is bursting at the seams with details and 1930s classic design elements.

Crafted from 14 carat white gold, three rose cut diamonds are set into squared settings and crown an incredibly ornate filigree gallery and shoulders.

Three stone rings became very popular in the 1930s, and white gold (invented in Germany in the 1910s) was also becoming popular throughout the world as a lower cost alternative to platinum. Ornate filigree work, often botanical in design, was also very popular in this era.

This ring combines these two elements beautifully, yet shows nostalgia for the past, featuring three rose cut diamonds.

This ring is likely originally from the continent or the USA.

Inclusions to one of the outer diamonds do make it visibly less clear than the others (as seen in the photos), but the details of the gallery and shoulders more than make up for this.
