Deep Blue Sapphire & Gold Ring

A beautifully constructed sapphire ring, which we believe dates to circa 1940.

Set in 9ct gold, a sapphire (approx 0.8ct) with a beautiful and saturated deep blue tone, has been rub-over set to stand proud in this ring. Our testing leads us to believe this stone to be natural and of very colour and quality.

The setting has been elegantly built to give height to the stone, with a well crafted rub over setting.

The gold is yellow with the warmer undertones commonly associated with older pieces, which complements the blue of the stone perfectly.

Offered in excellent vintage condition.
