The Piece London

Exceptional Imperial Topaz Pear Cut Ring

£1,450 Sold out

This ring is everything. Exquisitely formed, an estimated 3.61 carat imperial topaz is adorned by sparkling diamonds, suspended by a beautifully comfortable and generous 18ct gold shank.

We suspect it was initially made as a very high-end bespoke piece.

Imperial topaz is a deeply desirable and rare stone, and this example exhibits the red-orange undertones we see in only the finest examples of this stone. The stone itself is free of eye or loupe visible inclusions, making it all the more special. As you would expect for a stone of this calibre, it has been expertly cut and has a wonderful life to it.

In profile the diamonds are elevated either side of the stone and amplify without seeking to compete with the star of this particular show. The topaz has one very small chip to the tip of the pear - only visible by loupe - and is otherwise free of damage, scratches or nics.

The 18ct band widens at the back ensuring the stone does not wobble on the finger.

An exceptionally thoughtful piece offered in very good to excellent condition.
