Dazzling 22ct Gold 0.5 tcw Diamond Ring

This ring is a vintage piece crafted in 22ct gold which is a rich and buttery yellow. Five round brilliant cut diamonds totalling approximately 0.5 carats, with excellent clarity and only small inclusions visible to the aided eye (i.e. under a jewellers loupe). 

The result is endless sparkle and finger appeal.

The gold content of 22ct gold is so high (minimum 91.7%) that stones cannot be reliable set - the prongs would be too weak. As you will see in photos, the stones have been set in a white metal - most likely to be platinum in a piece of this calibre - which is intentionally visible along the unique gallery of the ring.

The shape of the ring makes it an ideal stacker, but it is very enjoyable on its own.
