Chunky Hessonite Garnet Chain Ring

Deep orange gemstones are prized for their rarity, and this hessonite garnet from Sri Lanka is a prize indeed.

The reddish orange gemstone is firey and intriguing, a truly unique gem. 

The stone itself is fully traceable and ethically mined with consideration for the miners, lapidaries and environment, and was sourced from Nineteen48.

We have paired this 2.25ct stone with the chunkiest of our chain, which 7mm wide and makes the total weight of this piece 9.05g.

As ever, the setting has been handmade to fit the stone which is expertly set. The chain is antique and is hallmarked to each link.

The gold is antique yellow, which carries a warmth unlike modern yellow gold.
