Bold Opal Kite Ring

The bold shape of this opal ring, made in 1987, is absolutely captivating.

The piece features a natural precious opal showing blue, purple, orange and red colours. The opal would originally have been white in colour, and has been treated* to look like a natural black opal (which would put a very big dent in your pocket).

The stone has been expertly bezel set in a thick ribbon of gold and this craftsmanship really adds to the joy of this piece.
