A real splurge of a bracelet with sapphires joining an immaculate antique 15ct gold chain. I knew I had to pick extra special gemstones for this project.

Where to start... the solid 15ct chain has crisp hallmarks to each link stating '15 .625' and is a decidedly gorgeous rich high carat gold tone - a really vibrant peachy tone. The bracelet is finished with its original dog clasp.

The central sapphire is a really dreamy oval blue sapphire of 1.63ct - it is from Sri Lanka and has a rich cornflower tone. Next to the clasp we have added a second 1.2ct purple sapphire oval. The gems are set in 14ct yellow gold settings with our rounded  'bubble' backs.

This piece is 7" long and is perfect for a 6.25" wrist - the links are 6.3mm wide which adds a little extra 'snugness' to the fit.

Material: 15ct gold chain, 14ct settings (15ct gold was discontinued in the 1930s), all parts are solid. Sapphires are a total of 2.83ct.
