Antique 15ct Fetter Link - 17.5"

Sharp intake of breath for this one, a beautiful fetter link chain at a very wearable 17.5" long.

Antique, we can't quite see the date marks but have no doubt, with "15 .625" stamped to each link and the dog clasp.

The gold tone is right between a yellow and a rose, I think of it as warm antique yellow. Yes, that sounds like a high end paint colour, but remember in the times of antique jewellery the range of alloy metals and blends was far greater than it is today, and each piece is different.

The dog clasp and t-bar swivel, the t-bar is attached to a link close to the end of the chain.

Offered in very good condition, there is only minor wear to the links so a huge amount of life / daily wear ahead of this piece.
