1893 Equestrian Albertina / Chain Extender

We love everything about this statement albertina - not long enough for a bracelet but absolutely wonderful as a chain extender.

Displaying intricate metal work, portraying a flowing and woven look, the piece is crowned by a shield shaped locket featuring a horse & horseshoe.

The locket itself has full Birmingham hallmarks for 1893.

There is an 18mm section of chain with a fascinating imprinted texture between the doc clasp and mid section of the chain which we believe to be base metal. If you don't feel that this adds to the piece it can be removed if desired, please just request in your order notes.

There are dents to the locket, as photographed. The closing mechanism of the locket and the dog clasp are in excellent working order.
