Old Mine Cut Diamond Tiered Bezel in 14ct

We found this bright, characterful, old mine cut diamond in an old ring which was past repair. The stone is so lively, it's perfect as centre-piece for this timeless, everyday slider solitaire and snake chain.

We have designed the substantial setting in 14ct gold and played with framing the diamond in a tiered setting with a brushed (or satin) finish to the exterior, and a high polish to the interier.

The 14ct snake chain that the slider sits on (it cannot be removed) is also vintage. 

The diamond weighs 0.58 carats and has an open culet, high crown and wonderful sparkle. There is a feather in the stone underneath the table, not visible to the naked eye, giving the stone an 'included' grade. There is one very very minor kink to the chain, not visible enough to photograph, not visible when worn.
