This one has me and Claire from Verno Jewellery all giddy - a fully intact antique snake long guard chain dating to C1900. It's hard to overstate just how heavy and slinky this one is!
This snake chain is in perfect condition and is 62" long, finished with its original, flat sided, dog clasp (connected with two adorable faceted belcher links). It bears a lightly worn '9c' stamp to one.
The chain is octagonal in cross-section and a fantastc 4mm wide. it can be worn wrapped up to three times.
Claire and I did plan to split this into smaller pieces and sell them from our respective businesses, but it is such a perfect piece that we are offering it as a whole for a limited time only.
