A wonderful 3.04 carat cabochon purple sapphire is set east-west into this masterpiece of a ring. Tapered baguette diamonds sit in tiers on the shoulders and the setting of the stone itself is a work of art in its own right with each side adorned with 5 single cut diamonds.
Modelled in 18ct yellow gold this is a very fine piece made to an extremely high standard.
The stone itself could be considered a purplish ruby, and has a vibrant colour. It appears to be unheated. In bright and direct sunlight a mild star can be seen on the stone - see video.
