Chunky Antique Fetter Link Albert Chain

A gem of an antique piece, this albert chain is substantial in weight at 31.87g and sports a gorgeous, large bolt ring.

We always hope to find stamps for 9ct gold to every link of such pieces and this one doesn't disappoint. It has the added thrill of two additional long oval links, also antique, which may be original or a later extension of the piece.

The date mark is quite worn, we believe it to be for 1899 based on the gold tone of the piece, but could equally be the 1924 stamp.

The links are in very good condition with many decades of wear in them.
