Antique Hexagonal Locket Case // Pink Tourmaline
You and I already know antiques are cool but if you meet a sceptic, please point them in the direction of this one.
Puffy yet angular and actually pretty massive, this piece wasn't messing around on the day it was made in 1919, and it certainly isn't today now that it's joined by a 3.75ct berry pink to purple tourmaline.
The piece closes firmly with a little bean motif detail and has full hallmarks for 9ct gold to the interior. The gold is an antique warm-yellow. Definitely more yellow than rose, but it does have a hint of peachiness to it. The tourmaline has been set in a bubble-back yellow gold setting.
There are a few minor dings to the piece as photographed, all charming rather than distracting. We have finished with a generous jump ring (6.4mm inner diameter).
