We have added a wonderful 1.9ct deep blue-gray spinel in a bubble back setting to this (true vintage, early 1900s) 18ct carabiner.
The stone is beautifully cut and has a depth and intrigue that really draws the eye. One of my favourite stones from a recent sourcing trip to Kenya!
Designed to liven up chains, bracelets and earrings, the ways of styling this piece are many and varied.
The only newly made part of this piece is the bezel and gemstone - all the other rings and components are antique. It's been a lot of fun piecing them together.
