Unusual Garnet Cabochon Pendant

Something that makes us sad? Lone earrings that have lost their partner and are destined to be melted down...

So when we found this solo earring with juicy garnets in a unique setting, we had to save it and convert into a pendant.

An oval and a pear shaped cabochon garnet have been beatuifully bezel set , with a fan like detail around the upper stone.

This well-made piece takes design notes from older jewellery (we're seeing hints of mid-Victorian and 1940s) but is a much more recent piece, with hallmarks for 1994.

Offered in excellent condition, with a 6mm jump ring added by us.
