Stunning 22ct & Multi-Gem Necklace

An exceptional multi-gem necklace, with an impressive number of stones in both size and number.

Twenty-eight natural gemstones adorn this piece, each set into generous 22ct gold settings and finished at either end with a very high quality filed biker link chain in 18ct gold and finished with a bolt ring added by us.

The gemstones (listed in order below) are beautifully arranged to display a range of autumnal hues, with greens, pinks, purples, yellows, orange and red. While the stones are subtly graduated, no two stones are identical in colour or size and this adds to the beauty of the piece, which we suspect to have been bespoke made.

The pieces has East Asian gold purity and makers marks, and we date it to C1970. As you would suspect with a piece of this calibre, it has a very generous weight.

Offered in excellent vintage condition, with minor nibbles to a couple of the stones.
