The Piece London

Beautiful Antique Diamond & Sapphire Ring

£700 Sold out

We love when antiques have a surprisingly modern edge to them, and here we have an excellent example of such a piece.

Dating to circa 1910 this ring is made from 18ct gold, natural sapphire and diamond, with the sapphires being neatly calibre cut as squares to run through the centre of the stone.

The stones are held on a slightly raised scrolled gallery, with ornate shoulders.

The diamonds are bright and lively, with one of the corner stones having a chip visible through a loupe. One stone is a replacement, also an old cut in keeping with the piece. The sapphires are a piercing royal blue and give this otherwise classic Edwardian piece a contemporary edge.

Offered in very good antique condition.
