Qu'hier Que Deman Medal - 14ct & Diamond

£650 Sold out

A pretty love token featuring the expression 'Qu'hier, Que Demain' which in turn references the sentiment 'I love you more than yesterday and less than tomorrow' from a 19th Century poem by Rosemonde Gérard.

This motif rose to popularity through the work of famed French medalist Alphonse Augis in the early 1900s. This example was made C1960 by a jewellery company based in Montreal rather than A. Augis himself, but is still a lovely vintage example.

The medal is set in 14ct yellow gold, with a diamond studded plus sign, and a lab grown ruby minus sign. It is surrounded by a halo of single cut diamonds set in white gold, and finished with white gold eyelet and jump ring.

Material: 14ct yellow and white gold, approx 45 single cut diamonds ~.65ct, single baguette lab grown ruby

The bale is 4.3 x 3mm internal dimensions and original to the piece. If you would like us to upgrade to a larger 9ct jump ring we can do so at no extra charge - please note in order notes.
