Gorgeous, versatile and fun, sweet but also XXL - this old heart padlock is 21.3mm wide and 28.5mm tall.
Tricky to date - this piece has a '9ct' stamp in the foliate engraving to the rear. It could be late 1800s up to late 1960s, but it was on an antique bracelet originally so we suspect early 1900s.
Yellow gold, a great 5.98g and in very good condition (signs of wear to the engraving comensurate with age) with a sturdy click close. Chain shown is also listed, available separately.
