A seriously stunning antique bracelet in 9ct gold. This piece has a significant weight and pleasing, chubby curb links. It wears beautifully.
The links themselves are made from 9ct gold that's been folded to form the links, meaning the piece is what we call "semi-hollow" - but it's worth noting the gold used was thick rather than this and this piece is extremely sturdy.
The links are 8mm wide, when this piece was made (C1900) there was a high carat gild applied, which has eroded in parts, giving this piece a chameleon tone between yellow and subtle, soft rose gold.
There is a point where the metal has been pierced, pictured, not visible when worn and not affecting the structure of the piece.
