This is a chameleon piece which will look different in altering lights. The trombone links are particularly super because the two elements move within one another as opposed to being soldered in place. The trombone links are interspersed with a fancy lover's knot link, adding fantastic texture.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eIf you look closely at the textured lovers knot links you will see they are formed from bracket shaped pieces of metal (like this ﹈ ). The trombone links are made from metal of the same type but the open side is facing in. All of this to say, the metal is solid but not square in profile.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eOne of the dog clasps is original to the piece whilst the other is also antique, but a true rose gold non-original addition. The t-bar swivels. All the bells and whistles! This piece doesn't have a date mark in addition to its hallmarks, but was made by W. H. Wilmot who were established in 1860.
