The Piece London
Classic 15ct Gold and Turquoise Starburst Ring
This antique beauty dates to C1870 and is a dose of sunshine for your finger. Bright blue turquoise sing in their starburst settings surrounded by buttery 15ct gold.
Set into a generous amount of gold and with a thick band, this is a really enjoyable and fun piece which is in very good condition given its advanced age.
While this ring has (almost) full hallmarks, it is missing its city stamp, however the date letter is present, meaning it was assayed in Chester in 1866 or in Birmingham in 1877. Dealer's choice!
Offered in very good antique condition, we do believe one of the turquoise stones to be a replacement which, while perfectly matched in colour, does sit lower to the ring than its neighbours. This is not particularly visible when worn.
Material: Solid 15ct gold and turquoise, hallmarked (missing assay office stamp)
Size: UK J½ / US 5
Dimensions: Length 5.5mm at widest. 1.6mm at deepest.
